Bengaluru Shift: Congress Guards MLAs Ahead of Rajya Sabha Vote The strategy of the Congress appears to have changed ahead of the upcoming crucial voting. According to sources, eight Congress MLAs have been moved to Bengaluru, reportedly to prevent any possibility of cross-voting. Sources indicate that the MLAs were shifted following internal discussions within the party. Among those who have reportedly gone to Bengaluru are Prafulla Pradhan, Mangu Khila, Pavitra Saunta, Rajan Ekka, Kadraka Appala Swamy, along with several other senior legislators. Earlier today, PCC President Bhakta Charan Das held a meeting with some MLAs, after which the decision to move a group of legislators outside Odisha was taken, sources said. Information is also emerging that some Congress MLAs are still staying in Odisha, and the party leadership is in touch with them.
