Oberyn’s fall in the trial by combat in Game of Thrones wasn’t just a loss; it was the moment Tywin Lannister’s hatred for Tyrion Lannister finally found its execution. Oberyn Martell fought to expose a buried crime against his family and force a confession from Gregor Clegane and avenge Elia Martell.
