Thank you to all the volunteers at our annual “I Love Salisbury” event this year! This event is foundational to the students at SU, allowing us to provide community service to give back to the great city of Salisbury. Wonderful job all, go gulls!!

This year, upwards of 450 volunteers helped to clean over 25 houses in the city of Salisbury for the student government’s annual Big Event! It brings us great pride to have such a successful event to provide great service to our community. Thank you to all participants! 🤩🍂🤝

Thank you to EVERYONE who helped in this year’s #ILoveSalisbury Event! This year, we picked up trash, planted flowers, mulched, & weeded in parks across Salisbury City. Additionally, we were able to help create care packages. Go gulls!

We had such a blast celebrating Earth Week with everyone! Thank you so much to everyone who showed up and showed out!We love to celebrate and share such an awesome space! This year, recycling madness had the greatest impact yet with a total of 3,574.5 lbs!!

Hundreds of SU students joined the 18th Big Event community cleanup day, sponsored by the Student Government Association. Taking pride in their city, they helped campus neighbors with outdoor chores such as raking leaves and mulching. @SalisburySGA

Thank you to EVERYONE who came out to SU’s annual Big Event 2022!🍂 This year, we removed leaves from 48 homes, which is significantly more than the previous years! We are so appreciative of all of the clubs and organizations that contributed to this BIG event!

Shout out to everyone who showed up for Recycle Madness yesterday, on America Recycles Day!💚🇺🇸🌱♻️ We recycled a grand total of 2,052 lb. This beats both totals from last year! Thank you to all who contributed to make our campus more green 💚💚

The @Univ_System_MD Board of Regents has appointed Dr. Carolyn “Lyn” Ringer Lepre as the next president of SU. Dr. Lepre is currently interim president of Radford University. She will succeed @presidentwight, who has led SU since 2018. Read more: ow.ly/U2hz50IXWyT

Thank you so much to all the students, faculty, staff, & alumni for contributing to the SGA’s booth for a great cause! Our organization raised thousands of dollars to support cancer research during such a fun, campus-wide event we look forward to supporting for years to come!
