Hot afternoon in Hylands Park watching Blue

Fabulous CoLP family fun day. Well done to the organisers, the GuildHall staff & all the police teams that came along. The Brazilian dancers were amazing. And I was reunited with Betty who I first met when she was a puppy & she weed on my blouse. @CityPoliceCops

Spent the last four hours protecting these Great Tit fledglings from the Magpies. Only 1 left to fly off into the big wide world & I can have a cuppa.

My trip to Benidorm with Mum has been both hard & amazing. My Mum’s Alzheimer’s is a cruel beast. I am lucky to have amazing friends here who have looked after us & treated us like family.

@JonjayNeedham1 @NHSEngland @NHSMillion 2 years, 2 months & 10 days ago I had a motorcycle accident. Today the consultant (after googling what to do for nerve damage) finally agreed to do the scan I asked for in A&E in 2021.

🤔isn’t this shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted! Bit late to debate something that has already been implemented.

@Vicky_McClure @alzheimerssoc I have tried every agency possible. Without going in to too much detail publicly the police did a referral to social services & they’ve batted it back to the police.

@Vicky_McClure what advice would you give someone struggling to get an early on set dementia diagnosis, where the person refuses to go to the Dr & has told the Dr not to speak to their family? The family have taken all steps open to them but have hit a wall.
