@SaltandPiper413 Draw it black and white first to make sure your values are good, then add color through various filter layers. Supposed to lead to better overall composition, lighting, and shadows. OP's example is kinda only showing step 1 in the colorization process though.

i pretty much exclusively use the greyscale method for all my art 😭 i’d be nothing without my overlay layers
