Russia Foreign Minister LAVROV: "The Western leaders have been repeating the same mantra saying that they will support Kiev for as long as it takes. Of course, fighting until the last Ukrainian is their choice, as well as the choice of Vladimir Zelensky’s clique. That said, the United States does not have the best historical record when it comes to supporting its allies.
Suffice to remember its abrupt withdrawal of military aid to South Vietnam in 1973 and to Ashraf Ghani’s regime in Afghanistan in 2021, as well as the fact that these moves immediately caused the downfall of the governments loyal to the United States. Today, Ukraine depends almost entirely on the Western financial allocations and arms deliveries. The future looks rather grim for the Kiev authorities and their patrons.
The longer the armed clashes last, the less appetite will the Western investors have to contribute to post-conflict recovery in Ukraine, and the weaker their faith in Ukraine’s success on the battlefield, or its ability to preserve its statehood in any form or within any borders. I am not even mentioning whether Kiev would be able to service its government debt. Taxpayers in Western countries will have no choice but to carry the burden of the unpaid debt, causing more inflation and lower living standards.
There is also another thing the West must understand: Russia will use all means to defend its people and its vital interests. It would be better for our opponents to understand that confrontation with Russia is futile and switch to more civilized, i.e., political and diplomatic means for achieving a balance of interests."

🔥 @JoeRogan Just Completely Obliterated the Climate Change Agenda: "You're Not Saving Jack Sh*t!"
"Even if the United States went to zero carbon output, you're not going to put a dent in what's happening to the world because most of it is coming from China and India. So all this sh*t about 'don't eat meat because we're going to save the world.' You're not saving jack sh*t!"

Over 800 military bases around the world, but can’t afford to house the homeless, feed the hungry, and provide universal health care.

At the Iowa state fair, @RobertKennedyJr told reporters he's debating me on Israel-Palestine "in a few weeks."
I've heard nothing from him or his team about these plans, and his comms director previously told me it's not happening.
Hopefully they'll clarify soon.

NIGER PIPELINE: EUROPE’S SALVATION?
You may have noticed the West is quite worried about Niger’s new, post-coup direction. When you filter out all the noise about ‘defending democracy,’ there could be a lot more self-interest at work than many realise. Sure, we’re all up to speed on France’s energy interests and US military interest in the country. But there’s also a new gas pipeline project - a key segment of which runs through Niger - that Europe’s pinned a lot of hope on.
Clayton Morris, the host of Redacted, argues here that it was supposed to come to the rescue after war and the Nord Stream explosion made Russian deliveries a no-no. US companies have a lot of money tied up in the project as well. It certainly puts much of the condemnation coming from the EU and Washington in a new light.
