@SamCarlingMP the Fenland Roads around Ramsey and to Peterborough are truly lethal. Not just pot holes but swathes of roads disappearing, often alongside dykes and rivers. Damaged car . When are these going to be made safe @CambsCC ?

Across North West Cambridgeshire, residents are trapped by skyrocketing service charges, poor maintenance and no transparency from managing agents. I told Parliament that enough is enough - people shouldn’t pay thousands in charges without knowing where their money’s going.

@StuartMaggs @SamCarlingMP - please vote against the planned changes. It is stifling rural investment and throttling family businesses across the UK.

Abolishing the proposed APR/BPR changes would reduce the updated fiscal headroom in 29/30 by about 10%, while simultaneously promoting investment and growth across the huge range of owner-managed businesses. The Treasury should be pressured to justify why it is not doing this.
