@rachelcoldicutt Yes yes yes to this convo; we talk abt this in the Zebra community a lot. I'm really into the idea of cohort funding - an initial core investment in orgs exploring a new space in different ways, then some kind of profit sharing model with flow of resources and ideas built in.

@rachelcoldicutt @doteveryone You're absolutely right, bad title, but that was what I was trying to say; the world is changing and there will only be more examples of people on the ground in impossible situations adapting, but original designs will probably still be done from places of norm and privilege

@rachelcoldicutt @doteveryone But your points on battlefield adaptions and ingenuity are well taken, and conditions like this will probably only increase with climate disasters and other scenarios where the norms of design aren't relevant. I wonder if it's an 'extreme scenarios' version that's needed?
