I find it interesting in #Macbeth how his wife is really portrayed as the power hungry person. I feel like this differs from a lot of other stories where the man is the power hungry. #muddybuddies

I find it really helpful how #Keen focused on making sure we knew the difference between empathy and sympathy as they do tend to get confused with one other. It also helps how the definitions are easy enough to understand #muddybuddies

#muddybuddies I am very confused by the ending of "A Guide for Working Breeds" what really happened to Contract Killer? Did they change their name or did they die?

In "A Guide for Working Breeds" I find it intriguing how the more Constant Killer talks with Greyhound they start to become more human like in terms of talking #muddybuddies

“‘Does that sound like a thirteen-year-old girl to you, Mister Dunn?’ These days,’ Dunn says, ‘you just never know.’" This quote is reallly what stood out to me, this is a society issue, where Mr Dunn believed that he truely didn’t do anything wrong. #muddybuddies

#muddybuddies I really appreciate the authors choise to make the people rate their blackness on a scale from 1-10, it really emphasizes how their community has to change themselves so they wont get killed.

I really enjoy the quote from #Anders short story at the end that says "all Molly heard was the slow, sustained breathing of people inside a cocoon of books" it really shows how peaceful everything was once people stopped fighting and enjoyed a moment together. #muddybuddies

I'm wondering if #Anders inspiration for this short story is a from a political divide, and if this is their inference of what might happen in the future if people don't find a way to get along. #muddybuddies

I really like how #Chiang made Jijingi act like a little kid who thought that they have to follow the writing rules perfectly when talking to Kokwa about his story "changing." It ends up showing what kid of person they both are. #muddybuddies

Why is it that #Saunders feels the need to write "Old Navy boxers that Old Navy gave us to wear for gratis" why is it so important to give the specific brand? #muddybuddies

I like how in #Saunders story "Jon" how the use of rhetorical questions really advances how the kids were thinking and how they justified their actions when they believed that they were doing something wrong. #muddybuddies

#Jameson talks about assumptions and how we should make more assumptions looking at pieces from a political perspective, only to then admit that was originally an assumption #muddybuddies

#Hughes use of repetition in each section is something that really emphasizes how stupid the landlord sounds with asking her to pay: "Ten Bucks". #1202NF

"MAN THREATENS LANDLORD" in The Ballad of the Landlord by #LangstonHughes, why at the end where the news article comes out does then mention the race of the individual? Would of the outcome been different would be a different race? #1202NF

I like how #LyndaHull uses the repetition of the words "I need" to emphasize how important and desperate the narrator is in the current situation: "I need to move next to you"..."I need to watch you" #1202NF

Its very interesting how #LyndaHull explains how the reason why the boys jump is from "bravado or desperation." Is she meaning that the boys commit suicide to impress someone or is that separate? #1202NF
