Southampton deserve to be punished, but Middlesbrough still lost their game. You can claim it being unfair, but sporting wise they lost. Other teams Southampton spied on managed to avoid defeat. They don’t deserve to basically be rewarded and given an advantage in the final.

This is genuinely pure incompetence at this point. The only fair outcome of this scenario to me is Hull being awarded promotion without the need of the playoff final.

Hear me out. Houllier, Benitez, Gerrard, Klopp. The manager is the cult of personality more often than any player, so I think this makes sense. Also, if you're looking at what Rushmore is meant to symbolise (founding, expansion, preservation, expansion/unification) they fit.
