Top: 7,800 tris / Bottom: 36 tris. Testing optimization. While the higher tri count is clearly superior, the lower one seems "good enough" given the data savings. I'm torn between adding more geo to the low-poly for better baking or just sticking with the current version. Trying to find the right balance since this is a high-spec VTuber project. #3DModeling #B3D #WIP

I've finally wrapped up the base body for Orode Studio! 😌 Thanks to a change in the target tri count mid-project, I ended up with some extra data I can share with you all. :) We're planning a 30k poly budget for the body in our project, so I worked with subdivision. I hope the topology flow I put so much thought into can be of some help to others out there. I'm also sharing the UV layout. (Working hard on the textures right now! 😊) Now that the common body is safely finished, I think I'll try sculpting a body that's entirely to my own personal taste next! :) #3Dcharacter #topology #wireframe #UVmap #b3d #OrodeStudio
