Proving that the ASUN=Good, the conference has solidified its historic season by guaranteeing that there will be an ASUN team in the national title game AND in the NIT title game as there will be an all-ASUN semi in both tournaments.

Rumor has it that the ASUN may look a little different next season. An unnamed source within the league office was quoted, “HOW TF DO YOU BEAT JSU BACK TO BACK!? Also, I’m pretty sure the ASUN might have an opening or two following this season.” Is it talk or change in the ASUN?

Rumors swirling around Homewood today that Samford is looking to have the most challenging schedule in the country next season. Samford HC quoted, “If we are gonna go 7-5 a third time, we might as well make it interesting.”

Also in more ASUN championship news, the conference commissioner’s office revealed today that there will be a newly designed ASUN championship trophy named after their former commissioner. The Humpy Memorial Trophy Presented by Enron.

BREAKING: The ASUN has come to terms with the city of Montgomery, AL to play the conference’s championship game at Cramton Bowl. This season’s matchup of #1 Bethune-Cookman V. #8 Alabama A&M will be the first to take place in the Yellowhammer State.

Apparently this candidate will be recognizable to most fake coaches so the ASUN leadership are pretty happy about the acquisition.

Details are yet to emerge about who this new coach may be.

According to sources, UNA may be coming close to an agreement with a new coach.
