@PROJECT_U_GAMER @Magnus_9_IOI @Pirat_Nation Oh, I don't think Marathon is bad at all. I really like the art direction of it, and the lore seems interesting. I doubt I'll pick it up myself, as I'm not big on extraction shooters, but I certainly don't think that makes it a bad game. Like I said, I hope it's successful.

If theyre are 200k people playing Apex legends, does that means that BR genre is dead ? and that no other Studios should make one ? if numbers are lying so what's the truth ?

@PROJECT_U_GAMER @Magnus_9_IOI @Pirat_Nation I know Steam chart isn't everything, but Marathon had a lower peak on release than Veilgaurd did, and averages a little over 40k players so far... And it's been stated that it's primarily a PC game. I hope it finds it's audience and manages to last, though.

@Magnus_9_IOI @Pirat_Nation People don't actually know what they want. "We don't want battle royale anymore" New Warzone mode create buzz. "We don't want the new FPS trend", Look at Marathon Numbers. It's not about hype. It's about if the hate trend about a game is strong enough to kill it.

@TheCinesthetic I hold that it's a solid monster movie, just not a good Godzilla movie. I like Zilla as a kaiju design, but it'll never be as cool as the classic.

Godzilla (1998) remains a strange outlier in the franchise. Roland Emmerich treats it like a 90s disaster movie first and a kaiju film second, which is exactly why it still has its own cult following.

It's a feedback loop, unfortunately. Disgruntled players being hateful leads to Bungie interacting less leads to more vitriol from players

They don’t play there game at all after development and they barely if not even reach out to the community and actually sit down and talk with us.
