Taking place along W.Va. 62, known locally as Charleston Road, the conflict — later named the Battle of Atkeson’s Gate — occurred between the 91st Ohio Volunteer Infantry and Confederate cavalry under Brigadier General Albert G. Over the past six months, we have made over $12.8 billion in new private sector economic development announcements, with over 12,000 projected jobs forthcoming. And that’s a low estimate of what’s really coming!! Best set of economic development announcements in state history. I want to work with senators and delegates who will help me build upon this momentum, without having our state become woke in the process. West Virginia needs to double down on fostering an economic environment that creates good paying jobs, which address our state’s affordability concerns. That’s what I am fighting for — and why I am getting behind a number of candidates for public office this spring. West Virginia must do even more to move the needle and bring permanent economic strength to our state.

In energy-rich West Virginia, utility bills are now often exceeding rent and mortgage payments. One couple's utility payment reached $1,000 a month this winter, eclipsing their $798 mortgage. Another resident's utility bill was $940 this winter, more than her paycheck.

I’m starting a petition to ban Sweet Caroline from being played at WVU games when there are children present because fans are apparently too vulgar and immature to sing along properly as Neil Diamond intended.
