I’m sure the diligent tape watchers know and would surely agree, but for most folks unless you are a Vikings fan it’s hard to understand how bad JJ McCarthy is. 0.0% chance he starts over Kyler and throw out all the McCarthy numbers from any Vikings analysis

@NicholasMMiller None of us think KOC walks on water. Don't project you thinking that before last season as us scapegoating JJ for KOC's many failures last season. We just don't think JJ being bad means KOC is a bad coach.

I find it interesting that the people most passionate about telling you it’s a fake competition for QB and lose their mind when it’s suggested it could be real are the ones who also think KOC walks on water. Kinda a weird spot for them to be but I’m sure they’ve rationalized it

@K2triim Nah he started turning to the right and Chase didn't have the lateral quickness to catch up while still maintaining full speed. If they were both just going straight the entire way Chase had a decent shot of catching him.

@SamDavi40268839 @DomClare Because Kyler is a better QB and the gap isn't particularly close. You can think otherwise but Kyler will be the primary starter unless he gets injured.

@SamDavi40268839 @DomClare He won't win the job but I will always root for the Vikings. I rooted for JJ during the games last season in spite of my doubts about him. I'll root for him if he needs to fill in for Kyler at some point.

@SamPaco2 @DomClare No, we will cheer for the Vikings and hope Kyler does well. Can you say the same if JJ were to win, or will you be taking every opportunity to criticize him when he struggles?
