@TalkingTHFC Well done, but I don’t think they offer out trophies for that. You lot have 68pts in two seasons. Arsenal have 70pts this season alone. You finished 17th last year and are currently 1pt above 18th. You’re in a relegation battle.

I want you guys to be aware that if Everton had won… they’d be 2 points behind Liverpool. This guy has allowed online content get to his head so badly, that he’d rather his actual rivals catch him over Arsenal winning the league. Arsenal & Liverpool fans have been peaceful since the early 90’s after we stopped competing for the league. This guy didn’t grow up hating Arsenal… but twitter culture has poisoned him.

Loads of you saying there’s contact and lots of you helpfully supplying the other angle. Thanks. Agree, there is contact. Still don’t think it’s a penalty, though. But would also agree that it’s less of a dive than it looks. Slight easy/willing fall prob better. (Point on VAR still entirely stands though.)

The contact is his back leg on Noni’s foot Had the defender stayed on his feet he wouldn’t have made any contact and they’d have left that game 1-0 up.

@SamRam47 @_callumstone @martinkeown5 Maybe, but the contact outside of the box inhibited Cunha. Madueke’s foot wasn’t inconvenienced at all and you suddenly see him think “dive” and he does. Cunha was being pulled for 2 or 3 seconds

The contact is there his thigh landing on his foot. Taught at a young age to stay on your feet or you run the risk of giving away a foul

@SamRam47 @_callumstone @martinkeown5 I disagree. Without being impeded by the defender Cunha gets the ball in the box and has a shot on goal. I can’t see any contact (if there is any) that impedes Madueke in any way.
