Our #YoungTerriers recently completed a @PGMOL_FA Breaking Barriers session at Canalside! Our Terriers took part in practical activities led by a range of officials including Premier League referee Andy Madley, which deepened their understanding of the game 👏 More ⬇️ #htafc

“They’ve had the chance to referee their team-mates and see the game differently” 🤝 Our latest Breaking Barriers in the Academy session was delivered at Huddersfield Town’s Canalside Training Centre. From decision-making drills and offside exercises to stepping into the VAR role, U18 players experienced first-hand the challenges and responsibilities of officiating, giving them a new perspective on the game and the opportunities within it.
