Very excited to see work done by @inactinoque @nielsBr and Karine de Wild being presented at #RESAW2023. They reflect on the challenges of investigating a (very large) #webarchive collection with multiple versions.

Some very interesting results: Grey areas show no data and way back had been very important to understanding why there are gaps

Also presenting #RESAW2023 @j_passmann Lisa Gerzen, Martina Schories & @silvertje talking about history of web commenting systems. These researchers are part of an @unleasharchives cohort project investigating the Mapping & Tracking Development of Online Commenting Systems.

This work is connected to research conducted by larger AWAC2 group, participated as a @unleasharchives cohort project. Results of tests: The more dense, the more complete. Volume was a challenge & required a downsizing of the corpus through multiple means.
