@wil_da_beast630 It depends on your lens. From a spiritual and morality perspective, I think the world is getting worse. Profanity is mainstream, marriage is collapsing as an institution, lying is mainstream, trust has eroded, children have lost innocence. I could go on.

Why is it so important for many people on left and hard right to feel that the world is horrible, and getting worse? It very clearly is not.

On this day, 27 years ago, we chased what is well-known as the strongest #tornado in History. This shows the F5 tornado near peak intensity, just after devastating the community of Bridge Creek, Oklahoma. Aa freshman meteorology students at OU, we stupidly abandoned our Geo Tracker and took shelter under an overpass. Research was published that overpasses can accelerate the tornadic wind and be even more dangerous. We then saw the terrible devastation in Moore, Oklahoma with horses wandering down the highway and people emerging from their destroyed homes. Over 50 people lost their lives from the May 3, 1999 tornado outbreak. There was another massive violent tornado with a supercell to the north near Mulhall, Oklahoma that peaked after sunset. The tornado outbreak was still going when I woke up for class the next morning at 7 am. This is a day that Oklahomans will never forget. Enjoy the nice weather this May 3,

@cdotharrison C-Dot it sounded like you were paid to say that this was a good move for the city. You went on and on for an entire segment about how we need to move on from the K and how this was the "right place" before we knew where that place was. What am I missing?

Doesn’t matter now but if the Royals and Hall family pitched Kansas City the vision of downtown baseball and revitalizing Crown Center, that’s an idea people would’ve been excited about vs the original plan.

The Royals plans being leaked by a city councilman to the Kansas City Star is a major reason in why the Chiefs said they were done with this.

The press release from last week stated Washington Square Park and Crown Center Area. If the location isn't Washington Square Park then it's the Crown Center Area.

Agree with all of these except AT&T stadium. That’s not iconic it’s just a massive expensive stadium.

Kauffman is old, but it visually is pretty iconic especially with the fountains in the outfield. I’m not saying KC doesn’t need a new ballpark, but to say The K isn’t iconic is just incorrect.
