Former Shropshire captain @SamWhitney_10 received his county cap at @BridgnorthCC last weekend. It was presented by David Breakwell, another man who represented Bridgnorth and Shropshire CCC so well, and was capped by the county in 1976. Many congratulations, Sam.

Enormous congratulations to our U15A boys, who have today been crowned Midlands T20 champions. Victories over Bedford and Uppingham saw them lift the trophy, and they will now bid to claim the national title at Arundel Castle in September. We are incredibly proud of them all.

@bigbono85 @MikeeeeeT @BridgnorthCC @SamWhitney_10 Some might argue feeder leagues are more enjoyable to play in, less travel, less pressure. Travel i think is a huge factor atm. Said for years Shropshire clubs should start their own league. The prem would be stronger than Brum Div 1. Less travelling. Win win

@bigbono85 @BridgnorthCC Sad to see mate, I think some can’t cut it at the level, so want it a bit easier. The amount of kids moving clubs is madness. Young lads who are 16/17 having 3/4 clubs already. Was always going to be tough to keep up with the big spenders once the league changed to 2.
