I'm sorry, but if you're through on goal and ahead of the defender, you either get fouled or test the keeper. If you let the defender get back and clear it, then that's unacceptable.

@MrDtAFC Saka/odegaard and trossard. Why do we not play through balls or balls in behind or even first time balls. Get madueke/eze who want to run at players and break lines with passes and you'll see a different Gyokeres. Arteta is setting him up to fail

Jesus is definitely not the answer. He's a good player to bring on in certain games, but he was the wrong one to bring on last night. Merino should have gone up front so he could drop into midfield and nullify Liverpool's, extra man. I actually cannot wait for Havertz to return. Gyokeres is not the answer, I'm afraid. We will have to address this position again in the summer.
