Honestly, at what point did it only become acceptable to celebrate/revel in a moment as a football fan (or player) if it means you win something? It’s absolutely mental. Imagine begrudging Everton fans celebrating a 97th goal to ensure they didn’t allow their rivals to win the final ever derby at their beloved home. Some of my most special moments following Arsenal have meant fuck all in the grand scheme of things, but in that moment it meant absolutely everything. Honestly, the celebration police - it’s one of the worst takes about modern football there is.

@Jameslong94 Baffles me mate, it really does. I know Arsenal fans can be unbearable, but Arsenal won the league at White Hart Lane 20 years ago, it can’t get any worse than that! If Spurs had nothing to play for, I would kind of understand it. But CL football is huge for the club

I get that Spurs fans don’t want Arsenal to win the league. I would be the same. However, to want your own team to lose, resulting in your team not getting CL football and meaning you are unable to strengthen your own squad…. That is a strange, strange mentality 🤷🏻‍♂️
