I have waited 18 years to play this game🥹 Metroid is my favorite game franchise, primarily because the games feel like a perfect fusion of the best aspects of eastern and western game design philosophies. It's also Nintendo's black sheep, being Nintendo's most ADULT oriented franchise and not cute and colorful like Nintendo's other IP.

So I have requested clarification from @IotaPoet regarding this tweet and he has not responded. I have to say, I have been a fan of his and have enjoyed his IOTA community-related content. I was mistaken in thinking he was a good source of information as it seems he is using his popularity to drive a false narrative rather than to be of informative service to the community. His tweet below appears to be both a misrepresentation of @DomSchiener's communications on Discord and an attempt to disparage @shimmernet. (again, @IotaPoet if I am misinterpreting this, feel free to respond) I'd like to say three things: 1 - @DomSchiener, I apologize. I trusted this source of information and that was my mistake. The way this was presented made no sense and I am happy to hear that you recognize there is no reason to talk down Shimmer and that there is a relaunch planned and an important role for @shimmernet remains strong. 2 - I believe every IOTA project would be smart to start with Shimmer and as a community, we need to work to make Shimmer the absolute best place to start any web3 project. I understand the @ShimmerGov is already taking steps to make that happen and that's exciting. 3 - Finally, I conclude as an IOTA Fanatic and very active community member since 2017 @shimmernet is the network that made all my IOTA dreams come true. I expect Shimmer will be the foundation with which IOTA's massive success grows moving forward. From all the creative projects, NFTs, DeFi, the first steps towards decentralization, and home our beloved @soon_labs Soonaverse the project that set the stage for all of the projects about to change the game in Web3. These creative efforts continue even though IOTA is getting some great headlines. This all started on Shimmer, Shimmer offered OG statuses to early project supporters, and Shimmer is set to continue to be the place to get in on the ground floor with IOTA as a project or investor...Shimmer is not dead, in fact some projects grown in the incubator that Shimmer is, are about to change the way the world looks at Shimmer, IOTA, and Web3! I disagree with Dom. Shimmer can be more than just a staging network. It needs some love too. So, HOW to push $SMR? First, divorce IOTA (luckily their children's assembly didn't make it), so no child custody. Act like a new coin. Have some rivalry.Goku has its Vegeta, Mario has Sonic, PlayStation has Xbox... I know Shimmer is hosting the latest IOTA upgrades. That doesn't have to change. I'm talking more about the marketing side of rivalry. 👺 "But then we have 2 same coins with the same narratives." So what? There are dozens of RWA and AI coins anyway. They can all have some piece of the pie 🥧. Benefits of Shimmer: 1.Shimmer is as powerful as IOTA (Feeless DAG L1). 2. $SMR is small cap. It means fast like a speedboat. More and faster growth potential. I'm not even that big into $SMR, but we can utilize it better I think.
