@sanchez_m_m I did the same thing. Pitched to my dream editor at Avon in person at a conference. She wanted it immediately. I hadn’t finished writing. All the pressure totally blocked me and I missed my chance.

What's the stupidist thing you've done while querying...?
I'll start.
Last year a dream agent was open for only ONE WEEKEND and so I rushed, rushed, rushed to submit even though my MS WASN'T EVEN FULLY DRAFTED YET!
I thought it would light a fire under me to finish writing, and boy it did, but I 10/10 do not recommend this method!!

@moniza_hossain Yeah, quantity is not the problem. Finding good shows is the problem. For every five we start, we only get one that we’ll watch a full season of. Don’t give me more. That’s not what I want. Feel like this about the book industry, too.
