If you observe and work on grass roots levels,
you see the same patterns repeating, albeit on different names/level.
The outcome - same - discrimination.

There is no denying that and I am not defending it at all.

The caste based disc. in Hindus,
you have something similar across other religions,

Last I checked, one can change class (though not easy) but as per Hindu tradition that’s not possible with caste - one dies the same caste as one was born in to.

Sharma Ji visited Nepal, Sharma Ji had only heard negative stories about Nepal, Sharma Ji was shocked to see that Nepal’s capital was cleaner than most of our Indian cities. Most of the roads, streets and footpaths were garbage free. He realised how we are being misled back in India. Despite being looted in the name of Swachh Abhiyan, and despite yearly campaigns of cleanest cities drama, Real work seems to be happening in neighbouring nations.

I am sorry for talking about Nepal in the way I did. That's perhaps because I have had bad experiences only when I visited Nepal twice. Political instability made the place really erratic.

Kathmandu valley certainly has layers.
Work still needs to be done on in limbo WWTPs and infra.(Ring road)

2015: earthquake.. another setback.
This palpable change visible from 2022 onwards.
If thing go stable, infra push is much needed in Nep.
Still so many deficit areas to be worked upon.

@mshahi0024 It’s a trend nowadays. Show one street in one country, regardless of how filthy the rest of the country is, and start bashing India, Modi, BJP and the pigeons here.
Nepal is as filthy as India if not more.
Do better comparisons to hold people in power accountable.
