Mark 10: You’re reading without context as most nonbelievers do. That is a small section of a conversation. He tells the man to keep the commandments and go sell everything he owns and follow him. Man says he can’t. The broader point is that you need God, not just commandments. For your picture: you’re assuming Jesus is saying “I am not God because only God is good” but it’s actually a logical argument. “If I am good, and God is Good, what am I?”

He answers ‘keep the commandments’ Is this what you believe as a Christian today? No. The Church preaches if you believe Jesus died for your sins then you gain eternal life.

Jesus was both divine and human. That’s the whole point. His humanity paid the price of sin for us so that we can have access to grace. Jesus had to pay the cost of sin (death) so that we can live. In fact if you keep reading there’s this crazy story how he doesn’t stay dead! Wild I know.
