.@YouTube I just uploaded a video of me and a chimpanzee scrolling YouTube together and it gets age-restricted (18+), and then I make a Short making fun of the pedos on your platform and it gets designated to “Made For Kids”?? Make it make sense - what a terrible system you have

@ItsSebbyWYD @YouTube To protect themselves from involvement with legal action but in the meantime this blanket policy has been hindering uploads for years. Claims that cover less than 1% of a video’s length should always be subject to manual review by YT before this braindead claim system kicks in

. @YouTube your copyright system is absolutely garbage I'll make a 45 minute video and a literal 3-second sound effect gets claimed (falsely, 90% of the time) and demonetizes the entire video. Forces me to reupload which then effectively kills the video. 4 of my last 5 vids now

I feel what you're saying my king
Many Creators have Deliverables in upcoming/old Shorts where it's a UTM link in a Description
or something in the pinned comment, etc.
I imagine Brands will shift and do things similarly to how they do with IG/TikTok Creators and get link priority in this new Nested Links thing they're adding

This is a massive step back for Shorts. Brands rely on Pinned Comments from creators to gain comfort around conversion so this effectively renders Shorts useless for Brand Partnerships. Why would YouTube not just implement increased vetting for external link posting?

YouTube is removing Clickable Links from the Descriptions and Comments of YouTube Shorts any links to Long Form YouTube videos, your Social Media, etc. will all NOT be Clickable by Viewers anymore (again this is only on YouTube Shorts) *starting August 31st*
