How today is so similar to yesterday! This is a speech I gave during the second intifada on April 20, 2002, in Washington DC. There were tens of thousands in the demonstration from all over the US. During the time the Israeli Crime Minister Ariel Sharon invaded Jenin and killed scores of Palestinians. The speech discussed this sad episode, which pales when compared to the Israeli Genocidal War in Gaza.

Who is the real Donald Trump? 1. Donald Trump does not understand the meaning of honor, dignity, honesty, or martyrdom. These values are concepts that require a moral compass—something he has never possessed. 2. Donald Trump is a proven liar. He lies as he breathes—one lie on the inhale, another on the exhale. 3. For Trump, the truth is not sacred; it is disposable—used when convenient and discarded when inconvenient. 4. Donald Trump does not value human life, including the lives of American servicemen and women. To him, they are little more than props in the theater of his ego—an ego so vast that reality itself struggles to fit inside it. 5. In Trump’s world, ignorance is not a flaw—it is a lifestyle. He speaks with supreme confidence about things he clearly knows nothing about. 6. Trump mistakes volume for strength, insults for intelligence, and bluster for leadership. 7. Trump demands loyalty from everyone around him but practices none—not to truth, not to integrity, not to allies, not even to his own words from yesterday. His only loyalty is upward: to power, to the Zionist project he dutifully serves, and to the billionaire–Epstein class that owns the stage on which he performs. 8. Sometimes one almost feels pity for the orange man. Then you remember the damage he has caused—and pity quickly evaporates. 9. Trump’s greatest talent is turning every institution, every crisis, and every principle into a mirror reflecting only his empty self. 10. Trump will not be remembered in history as a statesman or a leader. Rather, he will be remembered as a warning: what happens when arrogance and hubris replace morality, and when ignorance and recklessness are handed the reins of power.

9. احتمال توسع الحرب
إذا انخرط حلفاء عرب إقليميون بشكل مباشر في الصراع، فمن المرجح أن يوسع الحوثيون في اليمن نطاق مشاركتهم. وسيؤدي ذلك إلى تهديد خطوط الملاحة البحرية والبنية التحتية للطاقة وطرق التجارة العالمية، مما يوسع نطاق الحرب ويرفع تكلفتها الاقتصادية على الولايات المتحدة وحلفائها. 10. المأزق الاستراتيجي لترامب
يواجه ترامب مأزقاً إمبراطورياً كلاسيكياً. فالتصعيد قد يؤدي إلى حرب إقليمية أوسع تعطل الاقتصاد العالمي وترفع أسعار الطاقة وتعرّض القوات الأمريكية في الشرق الأوسط للخطر. أما الانسحاب فسيكشف فشل الحرب ويترك الكيان الصهيوني يواجه إيران وشبكتها الإقليمية وحده. وهذا المأزق يفسر الرسائل المتناقضة: تهديدات بالتصعيد تقابلها محاولات هادئة للبحث عن وسطاء. 11. المشكلة الاستراتيجية للكيان الاسرائيلي
يعتمد الكيان الصهيوني على الحروب السريعة والحاسمة. فهو غير قادر على تحمل حرب استنزاف طويلة. كما أن كونه دولة صغيرة ومركّزة سكانياً، حيث يعيش نحو نصف سكانه في منطقة تل أبيب الكبرى، يجعله شديدة الهشاشة أمام ضربات صاروخية متواصلة تستهدف البنية التحتية والمراكز الاقتصادية. 12. عدم تكافؤ ساحة المعركة
إيران دولة واسعة ذات عمق استراتيجي وكثافة سكانية، وقد اكتسبت خبرة طويلة في الصمود أمام العقوبات والحروب. أما الكيان الصهيوني فهو دولة صغيرة مكشوفة جغرافياً واقتصادياً. ما تسعى إليه إسرائيل هو نصر سريع، بينما تسعى إيران إلى كسب الوقت. 13. السؤال الحقيقي في هذه الحرب
القضية الحاسمة ليست من يستطيع إيقاع دمار أكبر. السؤال الحقيقي هو من يستطيع الصمود لفترة أطول، ومن يملك أهدافاً سياسية قابلة للتحقق. وبعبارة أخرى: من يستطيع تحمّل "عتبة الألم" التي تفرضها هذه الحرب. وفي هذا الجانب تمتلك إيران أفضلية استراتيجية. 14. لماذا تبدو إيران في موقع الفوز
يجب على التحالف الأمريكي–الإسرائيلي تحقيق أهداف شديدة الطموح: الاستسلام الإيراني أو تغيير النظام أو انهيار الدولة. أما إيران فلا تحتاج إلا إلى نتيجة واحدة: البقاء. فإذا بقيت إيران دولة قائمة وقادرة على الرد، فإن الهدف السياسي الأساسي للحرب يكون قد فشل. 15. النظرة الاستراتيجية المستقبلية
إذا استمرت الحرب وفق مسارها الحالي، فإن النتيجة الأكثر ترجيحاً هي فشل الأهداف السياسية الأمريكية–الإسرائيلية. ستبقى إيران، وسيظل محور المقاومة قائماً، وسيتكبد الكسان الصهيوني كلفة غير مسبوقة، بينما سيتجه ميزان القوى الإقليمي أكثر فأكثر ضد الهيمنة الإسرائيلية. . 16. التداعيات على ترامب والنظام الدولي
إن الفشل في هزيمة إيران ستكون له تداعيات كبيرة على أجندة ترامب وعلى النظام الدولي. فهو سيكشف حدود القوة العسكرية الأمريكية، ويضعف مصداقية واشنطن لدى حلفائها الإقليميين، ويسرّع من تآكل النظام الدولي الذي تقوده الولايات المتحدة. كما أن حرباً طويلة تعطل أسواق الطاقة والتجارة العالمية قد تؤدي إلى صدمات اقتصادية تقوض أولويات ترامب الداخلية. وعلى المستوى الإقليمي، فإن بقاء إيران وتعزز محور المقاومة سيشكلان تحولاً حاسماً في ميزان القوى، ويضعفان الهيمنة الإسرائيلية، ويفتحان الباب أمام نظام إقليمي جديد أكثر صراعاً وتنافسا.ً

لماذا لا يمكن للحرب الأمريكية–الإسرائيلية على إيران أن تنجح (من 16 جزء). 1. أهداف الحرب – الولايات المتحدة/إسرائيل
تهدف هذه الحرب إلى فرض الهيمنة الصهيونية وإعادة تشكيل النظام الإقليمي عبر إجبار إيران على الاستسلام. الأهداف السياسية واضحة: تغيير النظام، أو انهياره من خلال الفوضى الداخلية والمظاهرات، أو تفكيك الدولة الإيرانية. وبعبارة أخرى، تسعى هذه الحرب إلى القضاء على إيران باعتبارها الركيزة الأساسية لمحور المقاومة في مواجهة الهيمنة الإسرائيلية. 2. تقييم هذه الأهداف
على الرغم من القصف المكثف، وعمليات الاغتيال، واستهداف البنية التحتية، فإن أياً من هذه الأهداف لم يتحقق حتى الآن. فقد ألحقت القوة العسكرية دماراً واسعاً، لكنها لم تُفضِ إلى خضوع سياسي أو انهيار للنظام أو استسلام استراتيجي. 3. أهداف إيران
هدف إيران أبسط، ولذلك فهو أكثر قابلية للتحقق: بقاء الدولة وإفشال الأهداف السياسية للعدو. فإذا بقي النظام قائماً، وحافظ على قدراته العسكرية، واستمرت تحالفاته الإقليمية، فإن إيران تكون قد حققت هدفها الاستراتيجي بغض النظر عن حجم الدمار الذي تتعرض له. 4. الاستراتيجية الأمريكية–الإسرائيلية
تعتمد واشنطن وتل أبيب على التصعيد العمودي: تفوق جوي كاسح، ضربات ساحقة، عمليات اغتيال واستهداف للقيادات، وهجمات على البنية التحتية الاستراتيجية. والافتراض أن إيقاع قدر كافٍ من الألم سيجبر إيران على الاستسلام أو يؤدي إلى انهيار داخلي. 5. الاستراتيجية الإيرانية
تعتمد إيران على الحرب غير المتكافئة والتصعيد الأفقي. فبدلاً من مواجهة التفوق الجوي الأمريكي مباشرة، تعمل على توسيع ساحة المعركة عبر ضرب المدن والبنية التحتية في الكيان الصهيوني بالصواريخ، واستهداف القواعد والمصالح الأمريكية، والضغط على حلفاء واشنطن في المنطقة، وتعطيل طرق الطاقة، وتهديد مضيق هرمز. والهدف هو تحويل الحرب إلى أزمة إقليمية لا تستطيع الولايات المتحدة السيطرة عليها. 6. دور محور المقاومة
إيران لا تقاتل وحدها. فعمقها الاستراتيجي يتمثل في محور المقاومة الأوسع. فحزب الله في لبنان، وفصائل المقاومة في العراق، والحوثيون في اليمن، والمقاومة الفلسطينية في غزة، جميعهم يوسّعون ساحة المواجهة خارج حدود إيران. هذا المحور يجعل من المستحيل حصر الحرب في جبهة واحدة، ويُبقي الضغط مستمراً على الكيان الصهيوني وحلفائه في مختلف أنحاء المنطقة. 7. الجبهة اللبنانية
من المرجح أن تؤدي الجبهة اللبنانية إلى تغيير قواعد الاشتباك التي سادت قبل الحرب. فالمواجهة المستمرة على الجبهة الشمالية ستفرض ضغطاً عسكرياً واقتصادياً كبيراً على الكيان الصهيوني، وتجبره على القتال في عدة جبهات في آن واحد، وتكشف هشاشته أمام حرب طويلة الأمد. 8. غزة والجبهة الفلسطينية
تبقى غزة في قلب هذا الصراع. فاستمرار المقاومة في ظل الاحتلال الإسرائيلي يمنع الكيان الصهيوني من تركيز كامل قدراته العسكرية على الجبهات الأخرى، ويؤكد أن هذه الحرب مرتبطة ارتباطاً وثيقاً بالقضية الفلسطينية التي لم تُحل بعد. كما أن نتائج هذه الحرب ستؤثر مباشرة في مستقبل غزة والنضال الفلسطيني بشكل عام.

Why the U.S.–Israeli War on Iran Cannot Succeed (see thread- 16 parts) 1. War Objectives – U.S./Israel
The war aims to impose Zionist supremacy and reshape the regional order by forcing Iran’s surrender. The political goals are clear: regime change, regime collapse through internal chaos and demonstrations, or fragmentation of the Iranian state. In essence, the war seeks to eliminate Iran as the central pillar of resistance to Israeli hegemony. 2. Assessment of These Objectives
Despite massive bombing, assassinations, and attacks on infrastructure, none of these objectives have been achieved. Military punishment has inflicted damage but has not produced political submission, regime collapse, or strategic surrender. 3. Iran’s Objectives
Iran’s objective is simpler and therefore more attainable: survival of the state and defeat of the enemy’s political goals. If the regime survives, preserves its military capabilities, and maintains its regional alliances, Iran will have achieved its strategic objective regardless of the destruction inflicted. 4. U.S.–Israeli Strategy
Washington and Tel Aviv rely on vertical escalation: overwhelming airpower, overwhelming strikes, decapitation operations, and attacks on strategic infrastructure. The assumption is that sufficient pain will force Iran to capitulate or trigger internal collapse. 5. Iranian Strategy
Iran relies on asymmetric warfare and horizontal escalation. Instead of matching U.S. airpower, it expands the battlefield: missile strikes on Israeli cities and infrastructure, attacks on U.S. bases and interests, pressure on American allies, disruption of energy routes, and threats to the Strait of Hormuz. The goal is to transform the war into a regional crisis that the United States cannot control. 6. The Role of the Axis of Resistance
Iran does not fight alone. Its strategic depth includes the broader axis of resistance. Hezbollah in Lebanon, resistance groups in Iraq, the Houthis in Yemen, and Palestinian resistance in Gaza collectively expand the battlefield beyond Iran’s borders. This network ensures that the war cannot remain confined to a single front and imposes continuous pressure on Israel and its allies across the region. 7. The Lebanese Front
The Lebanese front will likely transform the rules of engagement that existed before the war. Sustained confrontation along the northern front will impose heavy military and economic pressure on Israel, forcing it to fight on multiple fronts simultaneously and exposing its vulnerability to prolonged conflict. 8. Gaza and the Palestinian Front
Gaza remains central to the conflict. Continued resistance amid Israeli occupation there prevents Israel from concentrating its full military capacity on other fronts and reinforces the reality that this war is tied to the unresolved Palestinian question. The outcome of this war will directly shape the future of Gaza and the broader Palestinian struggle.

Today is Jerusalem Day. Millions of Iranians fill the streets in defiance and solidarity, while millions of Israelis hide in shelters fearing Iranian missiles. One side stands in the streets. The other waits underground.
