@malpani This is a time-tested way of harrassing so that you have to spend time to travel for the hearings or don't show up and lose. They are after the costliest resource - your time and mindspace.

In nutshell accountability for entrepreneurs increases clarity, direction, and focus hence they are true heroes. These heroes are bound by conscience and liberated by accountability.

I think the root of the problem is a phenomenon that extends far beyond startups. There's a sort of homeostasis of worry. People worry a roughly constant amount regardless of whether things are going well or badly. This may work well sometimes, but it's not suited to startups.
