So as someone who has very little credit history, what is a reliable and safe credit card to apply for? I have never had a credit card and I only have student loans. My fico score is currently at 669 which is fair. What should I do so I can build up my credit score?

I’ve been creating on X for 9 months A legit dumbass college kid with minimal market knowledge documenting a journey It’s crazy what you can accomplish in 9 months if you work towards something you really want 50 million views and $3,500 later Thank you all. @Leo_Traydes Roth IRAs are truly the way to go. It’s that simple just open up a Roth IRA, max it out every year, and let the money gain interest. Then, when you’re at retirement age you and your family are chillin and don’t have to stress about money.

Why do I even waste my time arguing with people about Roth IRAs versus a taxable when sh*t like this comes out?😂

I was just thinking yesterday about that idea since lots of people would risk losing lots of money in short term investments like day trading then invest money into retirement accounts.

If you are in your 20s Open a Roth IRA Even if you can’t max it Put every extra dollar laying around into a low cost S&P 500 index fund You don’t realize how powerful this is A maxed Roth in 2026 is $7,500 dollars For me I have 38 years until I can touch this $7,500 at a 10% yearly return for 38 years would leave me with $280,000 ~$270,000 in growth. TAX FREE That is only one year of contributions too Max it every year and you’ll have a stress free retirement Don’t think you are too good for a Roth “I don’t want to be a millionaire in my 60s” That will be the biggest regret of your life

@SlimReaper1818 @Leo_Traydes money in retirement accounts. I am planning to be an engineer. The money I’ll be making will be plentiful enough so that I will eventually get to the point where I feel comfortable to contribute in maybe short term and long term investments.
