The fundamental question is simply this: Do you want to set legal precedent in the United States that it is ok to loot a charity? If so, you undermine all charitable giving in the United States forever. I could have started OpenAI as a for-profit corporation. Instead, I started it, funded it, recruited critical talent and taught them everything I know about how to make a startup successful FOR THE PUBLIC GOOD. Then they stole the charity.

I must say that this book was fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed the layout. Typically the format was a Diary entry from Goebbels in English, followed by the original German versions, followed by commentary to make sense of the historical timeline. One thing I love about this, is looking at actual writings of Goebbels. It was the same sensation I got when I first heard Adolf Hitler’s speeches in English. Don’t tell me what Goebbels meant, tell me what he actually said! (Or wrote in his diary in this case.) This book does that nicely while providing some commentary but it doesn’t drown out the actual historical writings. It provides a nice balance. Highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to know more about WW2, the third Reich, and of course if you wish to understand why the U.S. is at war with Iran right now. While they seem unrelated I can assure you they are not. Read and find out for yourself.
