I am not anti D3 schools generating revenue. I understand the financial challenges most are facing. But I believe D3 athletic programs need exposure - exposure leads to HS kids, parents, those in a position to influence college decisions (including HS/AAU coaches), media members, others to understand how great the level is. Parents and diehard fans will subscribe to @flosports. Casual fans and others simply will not. The loss of exposure - and the opportunity to build the brand - can't be worth the $30,000 per school per yr. Schools would be better served to go raise that money from alums/supporters...it can be done. We are going backwards in a big way in limiting exposure to our schools, student-athletes, and teams. We need as many people as possible watching D3 games. No one will know how great the product is if they can't see it.
