Hard work pays off. A convenience store owner in Staten Island awards students based on grades. Children bring in their report cards and he gives them items from his store for working hard in their classes. Mariah, a fourth grader, can barely look over the counter but she shows the store owner her report card and her Student of the Month certificate. The generous store owner allows her to choose items from the store. When Mariah brings several things to the counter he asks, “Is that all you want?” The grading system is 1=Rarely,2=Sometimes,3=Usually, 4=Always. If Mariah achieves mostly fours, she will receive $100.00 from. The grading systems are different today, but this store owner gets an A+ and way to go Mariah!!!

My dad’s parents are both Welsh. Their parents were also Welsh. His heritage ties, mostly, to Cardiff. He was born in England, and has lived in England his entire life. My dad is Welsh. It’s as simple as that. My dad will never be English. The Welsh and the English are separate ethnicities. My mother is English. Her ancestors were English, as far as we can date back. That makes me half Welsh, half English. And I’m damn proud of it 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Thanks @OlooneyJohn I’ve been drinking pints of beetroot juice. I love it! I’ve been researching natural ways of reducing BP for three years but nothing seems to lower it apart from fasting. So I just need to do more of that. I’m aware of how poisonous Ramipril is - I took it in a state of panic as a last resort. I won’t be taking it - or any other pharmaceutical meds - ever again!

I told the GP I was off the meds and would be controlling in naturally from now on. I may as well have been taking to a walk. Here’s the response:
