You both can be right depending on the mathematical approach applied to this. Let me explain 🙏 If you apply the mathematical logic of DIFFERENCE IN WEALTH which is based on DISTANCE between two figures. Let’s assume Mr X is worth $100 Billion gate - $150b Elon musk - $700b Difference between Mr X & Bill gate = 150,000,000,000 - 100 ≈ $150b Difference between Bill gates & Elon = 700,000,000,000 - 150,000,000,000 = 550,000,000,000 Since $550b > $150b, therefore his analogy stands even in mathematical reasoning.✅ Your point also holds when we apply a different logic to this called the RATIO-BASED REASONING How many times is Bill gates richer than Mr. X? 150,000,000,000/100 = 1,500,000,000 That means Bill Gates is 1.5 billion times richer than Mr. X How many times is Elon musk richer than Bill Gates? 700,000,000,000/150,000,000,000 = 4.667 That means Elon musk is ≈ 4.7 times richer than Bill Gates. Both mathematical approach are right as no metric was given such as Positivity, Symmetry & triangle inequality. He used the Absolute difference which is majorly used in mathematical analysis while you used Ratio-baded which is mostly used in Physics & Economics. @Femi_OfMainland both you & @Morris_Monye are absolutely correct ✅ Thank you my Egbons🙌

One wrong diagnosis in your HealthTech app. One patient data leak. One failed hospital integration. And your startup can collapse overnight. Meanwhile, you’re wondering why almost every smart founder in Nigeria still runs to Fintech. It’s not because HealthTech is useless. It’s because in Nigeria, building HealthTech sometimes feels like carrying the problems of an entire broken system on your head.

Omooo forget tech now ooo If nobody wants to say it, I’ll say it. No disrespect to the man, he’s a legend, no one can take that away from him, but nahhh… He honestly needs to wrap it up at this point. Because isn’t the truth already glaring? What is this? Sempene.

How much would you charge for a full stack Real Estate project that lets users list properties/buy, hotel booking with payment integration etc Website Mobile app - iOS/Android Admin Dashboard . this client reached out to me few days back, scheduled a short call, sent project brief ….. I went through it, after 2/3 days I sent him a project proposal of 5 million Naira because a friend referred him and his saying the price is “way” too high for him… the “Allah” kuku off me 😂😂 But realistically how much would you charge of a project like this ?

The Premier League Player of the Season is not chosen by fans. Fans get a say. There is a difference. Let me show you how it actually works. Every year the award gets announced and people argue about whether the right player won. Most of those arguments skip over how the decision is actually made. Let me walk you through it. The Premier League starts by selecting a shortlist of usually eight nominees based on statistical performance, consistency across all 38 games and overall impact. That shortlist is put to a vote. But not a simple one. The public gets 10% of the total vote. Fans vote through the official Premier League website and app. The 10% cap is deliberate to gives supporters a voice without allowing any single club's fanbase to flood the result and distort the outcome. The remaining 90% is split between two groups. The first is a panel of football experts including former players like Alan Shearer, Rio Ferdinand, Gary Neville and Sir Kenny Dalglish alongside journalists, broadcasters and sponsor representatives. They bring tactical understanding and season-long evaluation to their votes. The second group is the 20 Premier League club captains. Each captain casts one vote for their preferred player from the shortlist. That is the peer element. Players who genuinely impressed opponents on the pitch rather than just in the highlights. All three sets of votes are aggregated into a final score and the highest total wins. It is a genuinely well designed system. The combination of public sentiment, expert analysis and professional peer respect means the winner has to resonate across multiple audiences simultaneously. It is very difficult to game. Past winners like Mohamed Salah, Phil Foden and Erling Haaland reflect exactly what the system is designed to find. The player who was simply impossible to ignore all season. My name is Ajoje. Always great catching up with friends from SF and Founders Inc visiting Shenzhen Robot Valley.
Hiroki@robotsmasher1

Canopy @fdotinc Day 21 - finally met @Robo_Tuo at ROBOTUO and saw with my own eyes that Shenzhen Robotics Valley is real. ROBOTUO is building RoboX open source center, a robotics marketplace + open model/data community for physical AI, alongside a gigantic showroom packed with humanoids, industrial replicas, and robot components. They’ve already gained strong support from both the private and public sectors. And many thanks to @szjoanna @chicachicabangbang @jetsonearth for chasing him down to meet me - oh this man is BUSY!!!

What do you think is the best gift an engineer can receive immediately after joining a company? For me: 1. Proper documentation. 2. A clean and understandable codebase. 3. Seniors that actually explain things without acting like demigods.

So one thing I’ll say briefly: If your app revolves around: • Payments • Wallets • Transfers • Savings • Investments • Lending • POS/Agency banking • Crypto • Payroll • Cross border transactions Then CBN compliance is your problem because you’re dealing with money movement and financial activities. If you collect user data: NDPC enters the chat. If customers use your platform: FCCPC enters the chat. If businesses onboard on your platform: CAC requirements enter the chat. If users can transact: KYC, AML, audit trails and proper transaction monitoring should already be part of your architecture from day one. Most people are building products. Government agencies are waiting to build cases 😂

So I was thinking just now, It feels like I’m the only tech person without a startup now 😂 Everybody is now a founder. My one bit of advice to all new tech founders is this: You never can tell how well that your application might blow up, so from this very stage of building, please I beg you, for the mercies of Christ, ensure your application is compliant: CBN, NDPC, FCCPC, CAC requirements, KYC requirements, Audit trails, Data protection, All of it. One thing I’ve come to realize is these compliance bodies lowkey want you to miss some requirement so they can hit you with one crazy fine 😂 Sometimes it honestly feels like a setup.
