I think the one of the joys of OG Ultimate Spider-Man is that it felt like the character and the world were allowed to grow and change instead of being inexorably drawn back to the status quo

Spider-Man becoming a beloved and trusted public figure in in the Ultimate Universe is one of the best creative decisions that Bendis went with and it was a great antidote to how the concurrent 616 comics at the time was just misery porn.

As a jokic fan i think it's lame that he's transitioned to flopping more to sell contact
I blame the reffing system that will not call fouls if there's no flop and will always call if there's a flop
If they call it like they see it, this is way less of an issue

I do think to earn a regular season reward you gotta play in the regular season, but top players are missing lots of time even without skipping a lot of games for load management
Imo the threshold should be lowered to 50 games and then voters can use time played as a tiebreaker

In reality capcom wants the benefits of ppv without any of the elements that justify it, everyone's moving away from ppv because growth of the sport is more valuable
