I’d say the inferior players are better than they were.
And I’d say technical proficiency is less focussed within certain nationalities today.
There is a more widespread technical proficiency across the board imo.

Im not seeing anywhere enough talk about Nwaneri outside of the Arsenal fan base. This genuinely may be the best footballer England have prouduced in 20 odd years - How easy he finds the game, his technical level, the way he impacts the game in limited time, the speed at which he plays, his decision making, the fact he’s so positive and never gives the ball away. He’s very different.

@SamueleJoseph @Jonny_Dutch @giftofthegabz What is the argument then that he is good at bringing youth players? Half of youth players are picked up from other academies anyway. If nobody comes through you arent gna be able to bring any in and you’re gna lose your own.

Completely agree, however would go further. The offside rule was introduced to stop goal hanging. The game has changed so much. I would like to see offside abolished.

The proposal to change the offside rule to this "daylight" rule to me makes no sense. People are acting as though this will make things so much cleaner. Surely you're just moving the line (literally)? Instead we'll just be arguing about whether there was daylight or not.

I can’t work out why when we play Eze and Rice as the two #8’s we don’t put Eze on the left hand side and Rice on the right.
What tactical advantage does it give us the other way around?
Surely it allows Eze to find himself in much more natural and attacking positions?
