I think most don’t realize how hard a relatively benign tour setup is.
The courses are long. Rough is deep. Greens are fast.
And triple this idea for majors. I want to see regular guys battle Shinnecock in US Open conditions.

Watching Johnson Wagner recreate shots has convinced me of one thing 100%:
The PGA Tour should broadcast 4 regular Joes every Monday playing the tour setup.
Imagine a 0,5,10,15 handicap trying to battle the blue monster tomorrow. Counting every shot.

A couple months ago, ESPN’s Todd McShay claimed Jalen Carter had “character issues” that could affect his stock.
Yesterday, it was revealed that this past season, Carter paid for his teammate Weston Wallace’s meals with his own scholarship money.
Wallace is a walk-on so he doesn’t eat for free like the rest of the team.
Carter heard about this and didn’t want to let that happen, so he contributed his own funds to feed his teammate everyday.
