@SAAdvantage @c_soubhagya Cant say about other leagues but Home Advantage doesny exist in IPL now.Pitches are prepared on instructions of the centralised committee and most of them are more or less high scoring ones

This is a very fair point - but my view is that both batters & bowlers often need to upskill and in many cases, spend more time planning. We talk a lot about batters struggling to adjust their game plan on pitches when there’s assistance for the bowlers and that’s definitely fair enough but what about bowlers adapting too? A good % of bowlers don’t adapt their game plan based on venue dynamics or opposition batter tendencies either - often trying to execute too high a percentage of short balls or Yorkers regardless of these factors. Even worse, teams sometimes still select some players regardless of these dynamics and often don’t recruit players based on the characteristics of their home venue. The T20 game is evolving quickly & in some cases brutally. Players & teams need to leave no stone unturned in order to have a chance of success.

Let's have a constructive chat Its always the bowlers getting asked to upskill but as soon as the pitch has some movement or fair sized boundaries, many batting line ups crumble because the batters cant adjust So who is the one that really needs to upskill? Batters or bowlers?

Thats how you should use Shardul.Bowl in the middle and use his cutters & slowers on a pitch nothing is happening. You dont ask him to bowl in pp or in death,thats not his zone. As expected,Good teams with good coaches & management do well in IPL.

Excellent line up from SRH.Took the bold decision to not take Liam in the XI & reward Salil's form and performance.They said they wanted to 'attack' and this is exactly the way you should attack.Put the front foot and pick your best XI irrespective of price tag on Day 1
