One year ago I hit rank 10 for the first time and my goal for the Year of the Mammoth was rank 5. In April I joined Discord and hit rank 5 for the first time, as well as 11 of the next 12 months. I never thought I’d be able to push for and make Legend.

@SamuraiFlea @MarkSherriff The castle especially the Knights and then the courtyard area was really tough for me too! Godrick felt like a chump after all the dying to get to him.

My adult life with video games: get cool new game -> excitedly play a couple hours -> life becomes busy -> come back to game days later and can't remember any of the controls or systems -> become overwhelmed -> stop playing game and launch Hearthstone -> repeat.

Rogue One is trending, one of my all-time favorite movies regardless of genre/IP. I’m loving where the shows are heading but I was so hyped for the movies after TFA and Rogue One got things started, and still have hope for more films like this someday.

@RidiculousHat This basically sounds like Dwight Schrute the high school years. I worked at a smaller theater in college and Matt would have fit in pretty well. Half the staff got fired after getting caught running an elaborate popcorn bag and soda cup scheme to skim money from the theater.

@WickedGood I had the same experience. I did reorganize my Home Screen but that was just changing apps and folders that I used more (work apps for WFH, unfortunately). Not sure what widget would ever be worth losing 3 home spots for, maybe on secondary pages.

I installed iOS 14 today after all. It went smoothly. My apps are already organized in folders and I don’t want Apple’s attempt at ML messing them up, so App Library remains untouched. None of the widgets seem worth home screen real estate. So my phone is exactly the same.

Friends who are paying attention to Apple things: Should I be excited about iOS 14 enough to try to install it on my phone as soon as it's out? I half-paid attention to the WWDC announcement and promptly forgot everything because that was for Future Steve so I'm kinda clueless.
