The Calgary Excellence saw their first meaningful action under the new ASG management and the Pink and Black Attack picked up 3 pts in their opening match of the @playmfl pre-season tournament. It's going to be a transition season at the club but hoping to still make some noise.

The Talons clawed their way to a respectable 4th place finish after finding a groove in 41212. Unfortunately, their Leftovers moniker is unlikely to go away as the parent club today sent 5 Talons players to Ukraine in a deal with @HernandinhoM

Huge win against Quito Mercenary Co. today! This upset win pulls the Gauchos within one point of the league lead at the midway point of the season.
Ichiro's brace pulls him into a tie for the golden boot with Quito's Bjorn Engels, who was kept quiet today.

With our top club, Gauchos MFC, we planned on leaning into a front 3, but ended up in more of a 4231 main formation, adjusting for rest as needed. So far this has been fruitful in league play, with a huge win today against the Lima Eleven team chasing us. We battle Quito next!

Coming off a highly competitive and decently successful @playMFL alpha season 0.4, we thought season 0.5 would be a good spot to experiment with new formations and instructions as we figure out how to best allocate our players.
