The lights I use in my basement are very energy efficient. They are equivalent to a 100 watt light bulb, but only use 20 watts. They are also supposed to last up to 50,000 hours, which is about 48,000 more hours than a typical incandescent bulb 💡 #apesenergy @franklinlorax

Due to tectonic plates, the land on earth is constantly changing and reshaping itself. As a result, there can be things like earthquakes and volcanos. #apesland @franklinlorax

In order to reduce my ecological footprint I should increase my mpg! @franklinlorax #apespop

My ecological footprint would require 4.1 earths to sustain. Something I could do to reduce this number is changing my lightbulbs to LEDs to conserve energy. #apespop @franklinlorax

*FOREST FIRES ARE NOT ALWAYS BAD!* In fact one of the main roles of a pine cone is to open up and spread seeds. However, some pine cones such as the Jack Pine develop a serotinous cone. These are Pine cones that can need fire to open up and spread seeds #apeseco @franklinlorax

In my house we have a Brita filter on our kitchen sink. Whenever we want some water to drink, we let it run through the filter first. That way we are positive that our water is purified and doesn’t include suspended solids or bad bacteria. @franklinlorax #apeswater

Looking outside and seeing all the trees is beautiful. Trees do so much for us and it’s time to appreciate that beauty. They take the CO2 and turn it into oxygen for us to breath. They are so wonderful. @franklinlorax #apesintro

Here are 7 plants in my house that I enjoy taking care of. I find tons of value in having these due to them taking carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere, and in its place creating more oxygen through photosynthesis for all living things to breathe!🌳🌱 #apesintro @franklinlorax
