With this stay-at-home order currently going on, there are less people out driving which decreases the level of anthropogenic pollution going into our air. By staying at home or even going on a walk, we are helping our air quality while maintaining orders. @franklinlorax #apesair

I also have LED lights but I only have them behind my tv. It’s usually enough to keep my room lit at night so it saves energy.

That’s great! I need to get some of those in my house to be more efficient.

I use LED lights behind my tv to light my room up whenever I need to. I also unplug and turn off everything if I’m not using it so that it’ll save energy. LED lights are more efficient than traditional lights found in most homes which is why I use them @franklinlorax #apesenergy

And whenever these changes happen, they can also cause other reactions to occur as well. Such as an earthquake causing a tsunami or a volcano creating new land.

That’s right, and if we don’t use sustainable methods of logging, we won’t have any trees to use for resources later on.

Many things are made from trees. Paper, desks, doors, etc that we may all take for granted. We shouldn’t because trees are cut down for our needs. We should keep using sustainable methods of logging to ensure that we can maintain our renewable resources. @franklinlorax #apesland

I need to do that too. My mpg is decent but could definitely improve to help my ecological footprint.

That's a great way to conserve energy. I do the same thing by only using my LED lights in my room to see instead of the traditional light bulbs that require more energy.

I have a big eco footprint along with many others in the US, but to try and reduce it, I use my LED strip lights to see in my room. They are 80% more effective than traditional lighting. They convert the energy into 95% light and only 5% is wasted as heat! #apespop @franklinlorax

This is very true. Also, if the fires were to be suppressed, timber would keep collecting on the ground adding fuel for an even bigger fire to destroy the forest instead of help it.

It's great to see you spending your time helping out the Earth by getting rid of some invasive species there. Otherwise, they would keep growing and hurt the Crooked Creek Preserve.

Forest fires aren’t all that bad. Well only if they are small. These pine cones need fire so they can be opened and have their seeds distributed by winds. Also, if fires are suppressed, they eventually cause bigger fires that burn down forests completely. #apeseco @franklinlorax

It's great to see that you began using a reusable water bottle! I can also see that you're making an effort to use it too by bringing it to school every day, thus making less waste accumulate in the environment.

It sounds like a great and efficient method of making sure your water is as clean as it can be for drinking!

It’s that time of the year again. Snow everywhere, especially driveways and roads. But instead of salting my driveway, my family and I shoveled it so that the salts don’t migrate into lakes and rivers to harm animals and other aquatic life. #apeswater @franklinlorax

Why use a container when you’re just going to throw it away when you’re done with it? And no, this isn’t JUST about the turtles, it’s about reducing the amount of pollution going into the ocean. Buy reusable water bottles, especially the metal ones. #apesintro @franklinlorax
