@iamthechamp90 @Kwikpanik Dude, I've been a Pokemon fan since before it arrived officially in America when I received one of the Nintendo Power VHS tapes. While some new Pokemon are bad, there's a lot of great ones. Butterfree is my favorite, but Lycanroc, who came out less than a decade later, is my #2.

He said, "Most of these games" (I.E. the ones he's criticizing) are unplayable or glorified cut scene simulators. He never said all games are either that or have good gameplay. WTF?

@The_Epic_Mike The multitude of ways games can provide different mechanisms for vehicles storytelling, explicit or implied, the input mechanisms or interactivity involved vary so greatly. Reducing it to good gameplay or cut scene sims is NARROW!

This is a huge problem in gaming right now. A bunch of theater kids who couldnt break into Hollywood got jobs writing for game studios. But they dont give a shit about video games, they wanted to make movies. There is nothing wrong with games wanting to be cinematic but it has to be combined with good gameplay and most of these games are unplayable or glorified cut scene simulators.

If mispronounced names are enough to make your life suck, you've been bubble-wrapped your entire life. Find actual problems to complain about and solve.
She has since deleted the post on X after tons of backlash, but this entitlement and lack of gratitude is a plague among boba libs today.

I'm curious - what do you use to stream media? Your computer? Your TV? If so, what software?
I mostly use my television, but I have a roku box. The software on TVs tends to get too outdated and slow too quickly for my taste. Rokus are easy to upgrade, easy to use and cost effective.

I think there is some truth to it.
While its true that Lies of P and Stellar Blade have been criticized, games from outside the US in the vein of Crismon Desert like Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom, Witcher 3 have been praised.
I think its because these are games from well-known developers that's why they're glazing it.
If CDProjektRed or Nintendo published Crimson Desert 100000000% more mainstream review outlets would be glazing it.
I think if the trend continues AFTER THIS, when Korean Developers have actually put out their first release of a singleplayer game out there and continue to a sequel after a proven hit but people still shit on a great sequel I can definitely say there is bias.
