You all have been talking about immigration reform for as long as I can remember. Both sides. You @CAgovernor will never fix it why should you? You use it as political leverage one way or another to get the votes you want. Stop the gaslighting. People who think logically are seeing these issues for what they are. Nothing but leverage.

@BillyRay5229 Really? This outrage is seriously a mental illness at this point. He literally said nothing partisan you damn lunatics. 😂

BREAKING: United Airlines CEO stuns America by standing next to JD Vance demanding Democrats do their job and open the Government "It's putting stress on people, it's not fair to those people, it's also putting stress on the economy” THIS IS POWERFUL 🔥
English

Fucking hell, JD nailed it with that goddamned comparison of abortion to ancient child sacrifice. It's not just a fucking analogy; it's a goddamn historical truth, backed by archaeological evidence and the blood-soaked ruins of civilizations that thought sacrificing infants was a swell idea.
First off, the motherfucking settlers didn't just stumble upon a "very widespread child sacrifice" in the New World; they walked into a goddamn nightmare where infants were offered up like sacrificial lambs to appease deities or ensure a bountiful harvest.
Archaeologists have dug up the bones of these poor bastards, and the evidence is as clear as a kick to the nuts: societies that devalued life at its most vulnerable stage were also the ones where women were treated like disposable flesh, buried alongside their unborn children in brothels that reeked of despair and degradation.
Now, fast forward to our enlightened age, where we pat ourselves on the back for progress, yet we’re still sacrificing unborn lives on the altar of convenience, career, and personal freedom.
The Guttmacher Institute’s data screams it loud and clear: over 93% of abortions in the U.S. are for socioeconomic reasons, not medical necessity.
That’s not healthcare; that’s a fucking human sacrifice to the gods of selfishness and entitlement. We’ve replaced the stone knives of ancient rituals with suction machines and scalpels, but the result is the same: a life snuffed out because it’s inconvenient, a child discarded because it doesn’t fit into our plans.
And don’t give me that bullshit about “choice.” Choice implies agency, but what agency does a fetus have when it’s being vacuumed out of the womb because mommy doesn’t want to deal with stretch marks or daddy doesn’t want to pay child support?
It’s a choice, sure, but it’s a choice made by the strong over the weak, the same goddamn dynamic that drove those ancient sacrifices. The language we use...calling it a “clump of cells” instead of a child...is just modern-day propaganda, a way to dehumanize the victim so we can sleep at night.
But let’s call a spade a fucking spade: it’s murder, plain and simple, dressed up in the sterile white coats of medical jargon.
Christian civilization didn’t just end child sacrifice out of some vague moral superiority; it did so because it recognized the inherent dignity of every human life, from conception to natural death.
That’s why practices like Sati in India, where widows were burned alive, and the drowning of newborns in the Ganges were outlawed when Christian ethics took hold. It’s why the Carthaginians, despite their advanced culture, were rightly condemned for their tophets...those infant burial grounds that were nothing more than mass graves for the sacrificed.
The spread of Christianity didn’t just change laws; it changed hearts, teaching that every life is sacred, not just the ones that are convenient or wanted.
So, when Vance says we should protect “every unborn life,” he’s not just spouting religious rhetoric; he’s calling out the moral bankruptcy of a society that pretends to value life but will terminate it at the drop of a hat. And yeah, there’s a question of “exactly how” to do it, but the principle is clear: you don’t solve the problem of unwanted pregnancy by killing the unwanted. You don’t fix societal ills by sacrificing the innocent. You don’t progress by regressing to the same barbaric practices that our ancestors rightfully abandoned.
The left can cry “propaganda” all they want, but the facts are undeniable. Abortion is the modern equivalent of child sacrifice, a ritualistic offering to the gods of personal autonomy and economic stability. And if that offends your delicate sensibilities, tough shit. The truth hurts, especially when it’s drenched in the blood of the unborn. So, yeah, Vance is right.
This isn’t just about policy; it’s about the soul of a civilization, and right now, that soul is rotting from the inside out.
