@broskiFGC How do you make progress faster though? Even watching replays brings little results now because what worked in one situation wouldn’t work in another. Game just feels so inconsistent to me.

ive seen so many people be like "yoooo just got ultimate master for the first time!!!" and then "im literally shit, i fell all the way back to 1700," like three days later thats normal! thats how progress works!

i think a mistake people make when it comes to MR grinding is reaching a goal and then mentally setting that as the new "baseline", which then causes frustration when you fall back down PBs do eventually become the default, but it takes much longer than just getting there once

You don't. Your autopiloting simply has to be better than the other players autopilot. Sure, there are objective decisions to make in scripted scenarios, but you must be vastly knowledgeable and honed in on your craft so you dont even have to think in a match. Answering someones mistake should be automatic, or autopilot if you will. If its not, you need to hone in and train for more scenarios so you are ready for anything.

Genuinely, how do I stop autopiloting in fighting games? There are so many times where instead of doing the right punish that I know I should be doing in my head that my hands just kinda act before i think it. Is it the unmedicated ADHD or does anyone else do this?
