Changing venues that late is impossible. trump's ballroom only seats 1000 people. The WHCD typically has 2500. This event is about journalism, not trump.

Ok. Fair. Counter point. I would beg to argue that IF the President is going to be in attendance, which is kind of a big deal, they’d go where he wants it to be for national security. Also, right now we don’t have a national place for events like this, so they’re stuck using outside resources (even for official State events)
