@guyfelicella Fool, if you ever worked in the "housing" industry, you would know there is a large group of seniors and handicapped that are terrified to come out of their apartments due to the drugs and violence of other residents.
They have the right to safe housing. PERIOD

I saw some posts from some very naive people thinking drug free only housing in order to address homelessness. SMH .
This would make homelessness MUCH WORSE!
Imagine being evicted for using drugs and put back into the exact same situation you've been trying to break free from?
Housing first doesn't mean housing without resources. It means housing with addiction, mental health, and employment services that are based on each individuals specific needs.
Our problems are many but instead of spending billions on enforcement and other services we put that into the proper resources that help people get back on their feet!
It would be a better world for all of us!

I hated tomato sauce.
Parents on a tight budget and kids that needed to be feed.
Good wholesome food, usually done 5 different ways.
So yes, we learned to eat what was served.

I only had one burger in New York and I took an uber almost an hour to try it. You can find it at a tiny pizza place in Brooklyn called Emily. Many have said this is not just the best burger in New York but maybe in the US. I will say that this is one of the juiciest most flavorful burgers I have ever had. Literal drip down your wrist burger you gotta suck on. 🫠

"We put everything on K-Mart layaway. We were still trying to pay it off in July."
