This👇 Victorian England was swimming in disease, especially in the poorest areas. 25% of kids never saw their 5th birthday. They didn’t all magically become immune to Cholera, TB or Smallpox. Only sanitation, ventilation and vaccines reduced deaths - NOT repeated infection.

A lot of people in the UK claim to care passionately about the NHS. It's failing for a wide variety of reasons. It's clear that right now, added pressure is from airborne viruses like C19 & Flu. Correct use of mitigations could help massively. If you really care, wake up. 1/🧵
