Finally finished my #crochetarcade lamb cuddle blanket. Started it 2 years ago, should have finished then but, much as I like crocheting, I dislike putting together/finishing off. Got my act together yesterday and lamb is now in the post for my great-nephew.

Sitting in the hospital with Anne at the moment. She deteriorated overnight and her consultant tells me we're talking day to day. Can I ask those of you who believe to say a prayer for my girl, please.

Anne's still with us but she's likely to move to end of life care on Friday. When that happens we'll be talking of weeks at the best case. Sorry if I gave the wrong impression.

Whilst I knew this day would come, I just didn't think it would come as fast. We've been a couple for 40 years and a bit of me has died today. I'm unlikely to be on here for a while.

As most of you know, Anne's been in Hairmyres Hospital since Boxing Day. She remains seriously ill due to a series of infections caused for the main part by her Alzheimer's and there seems no likelihood of any meaningful improvement.

@SandraRolston Oo lovely! I like ribeye. I had rump steak today, but it was a good one. Yes I'm doing Kleftico. Slow cooked lamb shoulder. It's marinading in olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and oregano now 😋

Steak, chips and salad for lunch... Warm mince pie with salted caramel ice cream for pud... It's started 😋

@MirandaKitten Actually, spicy potato wedges, and steak is ribeye 👩‍🍳 Ooh, lamb, didn't think about that 😋 Not a turkey fan but I love a slow cooked gammon.
