Loved covering the #Oscars for CNN tonight, calling the event “a circus of celebrity where art meets heart.”

Proud to have represented Blackpool at the House of Lords where my home town’s fellow ambassadors and supporters were thrilled to get the support of MP Angela Rayner with efforts to regenerate the resort and win the bid to become the UK’s next City of Culture.

Great to pay tribute to that great actor #RobertDuvall on #CNNi earlier today. I recalled that when I met him he was lovely and surprisingly knowledgeable about European football, which we discussed happily for ages. Privileged to have met one of the greats.

Thanks to Queen Camilla for hosting our beloved Derek Paravicini, subject of the Key of Genius film, at St James’s Palace where he and other vision impaired musicians performed at a reception for her Amber Trust charity. This film continues to be a life affirming experience.
