7 of our volunteers from attended the Scotland Community Day in Dundee today. It was a day of networking to share ideas and get to meet other volunteers. Also an opportunity to meet the wonderful @SandsUK staff and hear what Sands has planned for the future. 🧡 💙

Last week staff from @NHSGrampian attended a Bereavement Photography Session. Sands funded the session run by a local photographer Jay from Owl Berry Photography The session provided staff with the essential tools to help bereaved families capture memories of their precious baby.

Thank you to the project team from @bairdANCHOR for updating us on the new hospital and in particular to the plans for the new Rubislaw Bereavement Suite. We have worked in partnership with the project team since 2015 to advise on the needs of bereaved families 💙🩷

Our 1st Wellbeing afternoon was a success. Attendees were treated to taster sessions of message, reflexology or Reiki and the chance to speak to various stall holders about the benefits of different therapies to help relax. #wellbeing

Sands delivered bereavement training to 46 healthcare professionals at AMH & @DrGrays_Elgin last week. These training days provide professionals with the knowledge and skills to help them feel more confident when caring for bereaved families. 🧡💙

Today 2 befrienders from Aberdeen and 1 from Moray Sands attended a study day run by @CBUK_Scot It was a very informative day on how to help support men cope with grief. We were joined by 2 bereavement midwifes @NHSGrampian Sands provided them with funding to attend.
